A child of Romulus, who was transported offworld to a nearby starbase for reasons unknown to her shortly after birth. For whatever reason she was there, it saved her from the Hobus supernova. As one of the last children born on Romulus before it's destruction, she was originally a captain fiercely loyal to the Romulan Republic through the support and protection of New Romulus.In time, though, Proconsul D'Tan asked her to formally join the Federation as part of a joint task force to track down and eliminate any remaining Zhat Vash cells. With the Romulan Republic joining the Alliance fully, they want to make sure there is nothing that can tarnish their image and get in the way of this relationship with the new allies. The Zhat Vash have long hidden in the shadows and they can't risk something that would bring back specters of the much hated Tal Shiar and bring distrust upon them. In their still vulnerable position, they need the protection and advantages of the Alliance.Hesitant at first, Vestera knows this is best to protect the future of her people and keep them a full fledged member of the Alliance, and all the benefits that brings, from now on. Promoted to fleet admiral she, and her small fleet of ships, continue to do their best to protect and uphold the ideals of the Alliance.Looking for her twin star who will guide her safely to port through the dark night.
